Superconductivity is a phenomenon of exactly zero electrical resistance when certain metals or materials are cooled below a characteristic critical temperature. There is no loss of energy as there is no heat produced even when an electric current passed through the material. This phenomenon discovered in 1911 is expected to have countless applications in today's industry. Such as in the field of electric and other power supplies, the field of transportation and logistics with linear motor cars and others, the medical field with MRI and magnetocardiography and the electronics field with computers and high-speed, high-capacity communication systems. The establishment of the superconductivity technology will no doubt greatly help to develop our society from now on. And it is our coils from Hagoromo Electric Corporation that are being used in the research of the fields of superconductivity. Superconducting Magnetic Energy Storage (SMES)

Electricity is a vital source of energy for mankind yet it constantly faces the issue as "it is difficult to store in large amounts". And so there is a need to produce to actual demand which consequently makes power generating facilities extremely large.
SMES, Superconducting Magnetic Energy Storage is what is being developed as a solution to this problem. It is a system which stores energy in the magnetic field created by the flow of direct current in a superconducting coil by using its characteristic of zero electrical resistance.
Hagoromo Electric Corporation has been producing superconducting coil to be used in the research of SMES at the commission of electric companies.

Superconductive linear motor (superconducting maglev) cars.

Superconducting maglev is a transport system which uses the electrodynamic suspension between the superconducting magnet installed in the train and the coil contained in the ground to levitate and move. Hagoromo Electric Corporation's technology can in fact be seen in this infrastructure of the future. Hagoromo Electric Corporation has been commissioned by railway companies to produce high-temperature superconducting coils that make even less energy loss a reality.
